More than just bricks on the ground.

Brick paving adds a whole new visual dimension to any project.

Commercial Hardstands

Hugh & Co. have been working closely with brick suppliers to promote the benefits of segmental paving as a viable option for commercial hardstands.  Paving is vastly superior to asphalt in these applications and usually considerably less expensive than the concrete alternative, not to mention the aesthetic benefits that can be gained through the variety of styles and colours. This makes paving the ideal choice.

Our experience in this area is extensive, having completed many projects across Western Australia, from BHP Ravensthorpe in the South to BHP’s Finucane Island up North, the Kalgoorlie Rail Container Park to the East and many in the metropolitan area, ranging in size from 1000m² to 64,000m² (Patricks Container Park, Fremantle Port).

With our modern mechanical paving machine and our experience in this area being second to none, we are able to offer our clients a first class service at a very competitive price.  Our director, Hugh Smith, is more than happy to discuss the benefits of paved hardstands with any interested parties.

Major Motors - 10,000mē

Major Motors is a prime example of how paving will perform under heavy loads and present a high degree of cosmetic value that is unachievable with other hardstand surfaces such as asphalt and concrete.

CJD Kenworth - 6,000mē

Kenworth Trucks, on Abernethy Road, was laid in a faster and more efficient method by Hugh & Co. utilising our mechanical paving machine, which increases daily productivity whilst reducing total manhours on site, therefore making this a more cost effective method of laying large paved hardstands

Terex - 18,000mē

80mm interlocking pavers, laid by our Probst machine, around a workshop as a hardstand for heavy engineering machinery. This was initially designed as a concrete hardstand, however segmental paving not only met the requirements for the project, it offered a significant cost saving to the client.
