I commenced working for Hugh & Co Contracting in 2014 for what I was convinced would only be a short stopover in my career, however, Hugh and his leadership left me thinking there is no better company to work for, and I ended up staying seven years. I started laboring on building sites, until Hugh gave me work in the office. It gave me great experience in all areas of the company. I progressed to running the company’s operations, managing staff and liaising with clients.

I found Hugh’s view on his staff was always positive and personal and we enjoyed a fair bit of fun working around Perth and away. Hugh has a tremendous work ethic and experience in people skills that I learned from him. I have never come along with someone that treats his employees with that care and thought. The company kept a good spirit even in some hard times.
